Dr. Ngozi Ikeji, MD
Dr. Ikeji completed her medical school, and general/pediatric surgery residency at College of Medicine University of Lagos and University of Nigeria teaching Hospital respectively. She then completed two years of Fellowship training in plastic surgery at the University of Alberta. She continued as faculty in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Alberta, teaching medical and dental students gross anatomy, neuroanatomy and histology.
Dr. Ikeji has practiced as a generalist in the Yukon for the past 25 years. Her practice included GP Obstetrics and Gynecology, emergency room medicine, hospital inpatient care and office outpatient practice.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Ikeji has been involved in different aspects of health care administration as a member of the Yukon Medical Association for over 20 years and the Yukon representative on the Board of Directors of Canadian Medical Association for six years. Prior to that she was a member of the Council on Health Care and Promotion of the Canadian Medical Association for six years. Locally she has served on different hospital committees and was the Co-chair of the Collaborative Care Team of Yukon Department of Health.
Dr. Ikeji is privileged at the Whitehorse General Hospital to perform facial surgeries including blepharoplasty and removal of other face, head and neck lesions. She also performs circumcisions.
She is fully certified to perform Botox injections and Juvéderm filler injections. She is also educated in dermatology and skin care. Her additional training in plastic surgery and expert knowledge of anatomy makes her highly qualified to perform these produces.
She values taking time to listen to her patients so that she can adequately address their concerns.
Her aim for this new clinic setup is to make her patients happy from satisfying results in a comfortable environment.
